Its a dreary but WARM day in New York today -- makes me want to go camping even more! I look online to see what I want to buy for the new camping festival season and I have so much I want to get! I do need a rug for the entrance to my tent thats the top of the list I am sure however that I will be able to find free of charge in someones junk pile this April. Oh did I mention I am an avid recycler? Here where we live they have a huge neighborhood garage sale. The following day they put out all the junk on the street they do not want and people pick the piles and the very next day the town picks up all that was not taken. You would not beleive the amount of people who roam the streets collecting things. Oh and one of those people is me!
So I am on the search for a stove for my daughter. She has decided she wants to go camping this spring with her family. I told her a camp stove was the best investment I made. Not only is a camp stove great for camping but also when the electric goes out and it is cold out -- it is nice to be able to make a hot meal and a hot cup of coffee! To me now it is a something I cannot live without. I do make the best meals on that little camp stove I have. I do recommend when you buy one you get one with 2 burners. I like cooking my coffee then cooking breakfast at the same time. (who doesn't!)
So I am thinking this is the week to make my first campground reservation I am pretty sure it will be Thompsons Lake Campground which is outside of Albany, NY. It is not far from the Helderberg Escarpement and Thatcher State Park. After I go I will make sure to post a review of my adventure at www.UncleJohnSays.com

Warm in NY -- I Want to Go Camping Even More Now!
Its a dreary but WARM day in New York today -- makes me want to go camping even more! I look online to see what I want to buy for the new camping festival season and I have so much I want to get!
